Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP)
Please note, the SSP protocol technology is $250 (GST inc) per month and will be billed prior to commencing SSP.

Rebates

Medicare
If you have been referred by your GP on a Mental Health Care Plan you may be entitled to a Medicare rebate ($93.35) for the number of sessions stipulated on the referral. We can process Medicare rebates at the time of your appointment, if an applicable referral is on file.

Private Health
Should you hold private health insurance, you may be entitled to a rebate from your insurance provider. Please contact your insurer to determine your eligibility. Please note, we do not process private health rebates at the clinic, but can provide you with an invoice for self-claiming.

NDIS
Mind Pivot is able to provide services to self-managed and plan managed NDIS participants. Fees are in accordance with the NDIS fee schedule and can be located on their website (www.ndis.gov.au). Invoices can be processed directly through identified plan management services.

Bulk Billing
As Mind Pivot does not receive government funding, we are unable to offer bulk billing services. Should you require government funded and/or bulk billed services, please speak to your referrer and discuss your options.

Letters/Reports/ Phone Calls

  • Letters and reports attract a fee commensurate with the APS Recommended Fees (currently set at $300+GST per hour).

  • Phone calls which occur frequently, or are more than 10 minutes long will also attract the APS recommended fee, pro-rata.

  • There is no charge for standard Medicare reports which are considered a normal component of treatment.

Cancellation Policy

  • We require 48 hours notice of cancellation (or, for Monday appointments, please let us know before close of business on Thursday). If this notice is not provided and the appointment time cannot be filled from our waitlist, a 75% charge of the full fee will be applied ($161.25). In the event that you fail to attend a scheduled appointment, the full clinical fee will be applied ($215). 

  • Medicare and private health rebates can not be applied to cancellation/no show fees.

  • All cancellation fees must be paid prior to future appointments.

Group Therapy/Information Workshops & Seminars

These services are only available subject to availability. Please contact us for more information, as fees and rebates will vary.​
